Our horses

These horses are scheduled to come to the Bluebonnet Horse Expo. Pre-approved adopters may test ride the horses they are interested in (with approval of the Adoption Coordinator), and adoptions will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to be pre-approved, you must submit an adoption application by October 1, 2018. You can download an adoption application here.

All adoption fees will be half price the day of the Expo. If someone applies to adopt at the Expo, then they will receive half price adoption fees on any horse they adopted within 30 days of the Expo.

For horses in the Training Challenge, pre-approved adopters may not take them home until they’ve finished showing. All other available horses may be taken home once the contract is signed and fee has been paid. When adopting a horse, please bring the signed contract back to the Horse check in table to receive the horse’s coggins and health records and to check out.

Horses may be picked up until 7:30pm on Saturday evening. Arrangements may be made to pick horses up between 8am and 11am on Sunday as well.
