Cas was rescued from a neglect case, along with her 1YO sister/pasture mate, Cissy, and five other horses, in May 2018. She was very thin and very weak, but she is getting stronger and more energetic every day. Cas is calm and sweet; she calls to her foster home with a little whinny when she goes out to see her. Cas is willing and careful. Her foster home says that she foresees Cas as that special, smart and strong willed Mare that forms the bond of a lifetime with the right owner/rider that shows her leadership and trustworthiness.
We believe Cas has no training and little, if any, handling. She’s getting started with leading, loading, grooming, picking up her feet and standing for the farrier. She learns quickly and she is easy to catch.
